Job Description
POSITION: Attendant 3 - Tool Keeper DEPARTMENT: Asset Management & Engineerin LOCATION: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time
Responsibilities
- Inspect tools for cracks, damage or defects and record findings accurately.
- Maintain daily tool database control and proper records of tools in the tool keeping room and tools issued to employees.
- Track and report tool shortages and maintain records of tools not returned or lost.
- Support effective tool issue and return processes to maintain resource availability.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and meet work delivery deadlines within required timeframes.
- Observe all relevant safety requirements and carry out work as directed by supervisors.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a tool keeper.
- Experience in the mining coordination industry will be an added advantage.
- Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
- Commitment to safe work practices, including stopping unsafe work.
- No criminal record.

Skills
Good written and oral communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
Ability to show initiative and work well with the team.
Ability to work as a team player and independently.
