Job Description
Kilala Credit Company (T) Limited is seeking six (6) qualified, self-motivated, and dynamic Credit Officers to join its team in Dodoma.
The role involves growing the loan portfolio, assessing loan applications, monitoring client repayments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Market and promote the company’s loan products to potential individual and group clients across Dodoma.
- Assess, evaluate, and verify client loan applications, creditworthiness, businesses, and collateral through site visits. GeographicReference
- Process loan approvals in alignment with established credit policies and track portfolios to ensure timely repayments and minimal delinquency.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts, manage recovery procedures, and maintain accurate portfolio reports for management.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients while providing clear guidance on loan products and terms.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Microfinance, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in microfinance, lending, or credit administration is an added advantage.
- Strong credit assessment capabilities, negotiation skills, report writing, and financial evaluation skills.
- High integrity, professional ethics, self-drive, and the ability to hit targets under minimal supervision. JobSearch Platform
