Data Analyst – Risk and Compliance

Responsibilities

• Support the daily quality assurance programme by performing structured data analysis and audits across:
• SIM registration controls
• KYC completeness checks
• Other compliance control points
• Analyse registration datasets to identify anomalies, data gaps, and control failures across SIM Card registration, producing actionable findings with supporting evidence.
• Monitor the barring process by ensuring the barring cycle is completed through data analysis to identify anomalies.
• Validate that SIM registration records meet TCRA requirements, including:
• Biometric capture
• NIN linkage
• Subscriber identity verification completeness
• Other applicable requirements
• Conduct routine and ad-hoc audits of internal compliance processes, flagging deviations from policy and tracking remediation through to closure.
• Track fraud, KYC and AML KPIs/KRIs, producing regular intelligence reports for the Risk & Compliance team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive data analytics experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a telecommunications or financial services regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in: (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Or a related quantitative discipline)
