Job Description
The position involves supervising students and other authorised pool users, preventing accidents and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring students and other authorised pool users.
- Preventing accidents.
- Responding to emergencies.
- Maintaining pool hygiene.
- Ensuring that school swimming activities are conducted in accordance with established safety procedures
Requirements
- Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during emergencies.
- Ability to work responsibly with children and young people
Qualifications
- First Aid, CPR and official Lifeguard or Water Safety certification.
- Previous minimum of two years of experience as a lifeguard, swimming instructor, pool attendant or in a similar role.
- Strong swimming ability and demonstrated lifesaving skills
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
