Job Description

SimplePay Capital Financial Services Tanzania Ltd is looking for ambitious, disciplined, and target-driven individuals to join our Operations team as Operations Trainees – Business Development Officer (BDO).

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Acquisition
• Identify and approach potential customers within the assigned territory.
• Market and promote the Company’s loan products to prospective customers.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers.
• Support customer onboarding and loan application processes.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Collections & Customer Follow-Up
• Follow up with customers regarding loan repayments.
• Communicate professionally with customers on repayment schedules and outstanding balances.
• Support collection activities and customer retention initiatives.
• Conduct field visits and customer follow-ups as required.
• Loan Processing & Operations
• Assist in collecting and verifying customer information and documentation.
• Support loan disbursement and collection activities.
• Ensure customer information submitted is accurate and complete.
• Adhere to the Company’s policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary School Education (Form Four Certificate).
• Must have NIDA number
• Must be able to communicate effectively in Kiswahili; English will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, collections, microfinance, or field work is an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Must be willing to work in the field and engage customers directly.
• Must be willing to relocate to areas with open vacancies
• Have a smartphone
• A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
