Job Description
In line with the University’s continued growth and development, SUMAIT invites applications from suitably qualified, competent and experienced candidates for the vacant position of Planning Officer
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of the University's strategic plans.
- Assist in translating the University's vision, mission and strategic objectives into actionable plans and programmes.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual work plans and performance targets for academic and administrative units.
- Develop and maintain systems for monitoring the implementation of strategic and annual plans.
- Track institutional performance against approved targets, key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones.
- Collect, compile, analyse and interpret institutional data to support planning and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in planning/development planning/project planning or related field + relevant experience
