Sales and Marketing Officer

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new sales leads through field visits, telephone calls, referrals, social media, networking, and other channels.
• Present and demonstrate company products and services to prospective customers.
• Visit businesses and potential customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, demonstrations, and prospective customers until sales are completed.
• Meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Negotiate with customers within approved company pricing and commercial policies.
• Convert prospects into customers and ensure proper handover to the relevant department.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
• Maintain regular communication with existing customers to identify additional business opportunities.
• Monitor competitors, market prices, products, and customer preferences.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a related position.
• Experience in selling technology, software, hardware, business solutions, or other commercial products will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of sales and marketing principles.
• Computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office and relevant business applications
