Requirements
- Five years and above working experience on underground equipment
- High Voltage Switching
Qualifications
- Five years and above working experience on underground equipment
- High Voltage Switching
- Previous experience in a similar role or time spent working on high-voltage electrical equipment
- Ability to always demonstrate professionalism in the workplace
- Qualified High Voltage Electrician with at least 5 years' experience in underground operations' electrical maintenance and repairs, and at least 5 years working in international/multi-national organizations
Skills
Experience in managing engineering HV infrastructure in underground mining operations
Experience in detailed maintenance strategy of underground equipment
Experience in maintenance of 11kV transformers
switchgear
and RMU
Experience in MV cable splicing and terminations
Experience with high/low voltage circuit breakers
Knowledge of earth leakage protections
Experience with 1000V equipment and gulley box
Experience with jumbo drill unit
